Everything you need to know before finding your first drop.
What is floor?
floor is an app that connects digital rewards to real-world experiences. It lets brands, businesses, and creators connect the two through an interactive layer for tokens and NFTs.
Who can use floor?
Anyone can bind any token or NFT to any location in the world and create a task- or collection-based experience around it.
Anyone can collect drops, too.
What are drops?
Location-bound rewards are called drops.
Drops turn digital rewards into task- and collection-based experiences. They turn real-world locations into attention and engagement for your brand or business.
Drops are first-come, first-served and verifiable on-chain.
Who is the floor app for?
The app is for both creators and collectors.
Anyone can be a creator. Create a drop, set a task or collection requirement, and let people discover it. For brands, businesses, and creators, drops give people a reason to visit, participate, and share their experience.
Anyone can be a collector, too. Open the app, check the map, reach the drop zone, complete the task, and collect your reward.
As easy and joyful as picking up money from the floor.
Is the app live?
Yes! If you’re reading this onboarding FAQ, the app is live.
We’re in the early stages of testing and value your participation and feedback. Don’t forget to collect your drop rewards.
Where do I get it?
Visit flooronrh.com/get for the current iPhone and Android installation options.
Follow the instructions for your device. Early testing may require TestFlight on iPhone or a direct download on Android.
Do I need to buy floor to use the app?
No. You will never need the floor token to use the app.
In future iterations, floor will get further integrated in the floor app.
Each drop has its own requirements. Read them before you visit.
How do drops work?
As a collector, open the map and check your area for drops. Read the task, visit the location, complete the requirements, and submit your claim.
In this test version, we’re running a social proof task. This means taking pictures of the floor and posting them on X.
Find a drop. Complete the task. Collect your reward once your claim is approved.
What happens to my rewards?
When you create an account through X, Apple, or Google, a Privy wallet is automatically created for you. This wallet receives your rewards.
You can send your rewards to another wallet. The gas fees are on us.
Why does floor need my location?
floor uses your location to show nearby drops and check that you visited the right place.
Verification needs an accurate location signal. Buildings, device settings, and weak reception can affect it.
If verification fails, check your permissions and follow the instructions in the app. Only move to a clearer spot if it is safe to do so.
Why do I need a photo and an X post?
The current collection flow requires proof of the experience.
Location verification checks your presence. The photo and social post show your visit and help others discover the drop.
Follow the specific instructions. Your post is public, so be mindful of what you photograph and share.
Can I use other social platforms to claim a drop?
The current version uses X for social posts.
In the next version, we will make it possible to submit social proof through TikTok, Instagram, and other social platforms.
Does submitting a claim guarantee a reward?
No. Claims are checked against the drop’s requirements before approval.
Reaching the location alone does not complete a claim. Make sure you finish every step and submit the correct post link.
How long does review take?
Reviews may take time during early testing. There is no fixed turnaround time.
Check your claim status in the app. If something appears stuck, contact the team through the official community.
What happens if my claim is rejected?
Check the reason and any instructions provided.
You can verify again and submit a new post while the drop remains available. A new submission still needs to meet the requirements.
Can I reuse a post for another claim?
No. The same X post can support only one claim.
Use a new post for a new submission. Do not reuse a link attached to a claim that is already under review or has been paid.
Where does my reward go?
Once your claim is approved and paid, the reward goes to your wallet.
The Rewards tab shows your balance and collected rewards. It also provides links to relevant posts and transactions.
Do I need to pay for my transactions?
No. We sponsor all transactions, claims, and reward transfers made through your floor account.
You do not need to add ETH for those supported actions.
Can I send my rewards to another wallet?
Yes. Use the send option in the rewards flow. It opens the wallet page.
Check the destination address and make sure the receiving wallet supports the reward’s network. Blockchain transfers cannot normally be reversed.
Why are there no drops near me?
Drops appear where someone has created and funded them.
Coverage is limited during early testing. An empty map does not necessarily mean something is broken.
Tell us where you would like to see drops. You can still explore the app and share feedback.
Can I create a drop?
floor supports creating and funding drops.
If you want to run one during early testing, contact the team. We can help you understand the current setup and what participants will need to do.
What if something goes wrong?
Tell us what you tried, what happened, and what you expected.
Include your phone model and app version. Add a screenshot if it helps.
Never share passwords, recovery phrases, or private keys. Leave private account information out of public screenshots.
Where can I read about privacy?
Read the privacy information before taking part.
Your X post is public. Consider what it reveals about you and the people around you.
What kind of feedback helps?
Tell us where you got confused, what failed, and what felt unnecessary.
We also want to know what you enjoyed. Was the drop worth the visit? What would make you collect another?
What are we testing, and how can you help?
The floor app needs everyone, from the left curve to the right curve, to click buttons and find errors. More usage means more feedback and helps us improve faster.
This is only the first iteration. It remains a work in progress. Try everything. Try to break it. Tell us what you think.
Fill in the feedback form to collect your rewards in USDG.
And tell your friends there’s free money to be picked up from the floor!
